FEBRUARY NEWS
At last a chance to provide you with some news after endless weeks
of non activity due to the terrible weather. Firstly on the playing front its
a big well done to the Under 10 squad who have got through to the semi finals
of the John Leeds Trophy for the 2nd time in 3 years!. As a lot of you have
probaley noticed, all managers, coaches & parent reps have now been provided
with brand new look hoodies, this helps us provide more awareness to all those
attending games of those involved on the sidelines. On the social front I can
now confirm that we have now booked the 442 club for Sunday 13th June, this
will be this years venue & date for presentation events (more details will
be available shortly). We will also once again be involved in being part of
the Hempstead Fayre, which this year is on Sunday 23rd May.
DECEMBER NEWS
The month of December proved to be dreadful in terms of the weather
which meant a lot of games had to be cancelled, although a lot of the training
schedule was saved by having the new all weather surface available at the garrison
ground. Evidence if any was needed of the desperate need for us to obtain a
facility for the winter period. So many thanks again to Dan Lanckman who helped
us with getting the ground.
We had a very successful christmas draw, despite the weather again
effecting tickets sales, we managed to raise over £400 for the club.Special
thanks to Natalie Gifford & Rebecca Sandys for all the hard work work on
this one & everyone who joined in.
